Mumbai Indians vs Rajasthan Royals, 47th Match Preview, and Updates
Mumbai Indians, who have won three consecutive wins by breaking the series of defeats, will be defeated by Rajasthan Royals today, with the intention of taking the next step towards the IPL playoffs.
Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai team has made a comeback in the form of time, after losing several matches in the beginning. He defeated Kolkata Knight Riders in two consecutive matches, and after his 102-run victory in Kolkata, his morale will increase significantly.
After this victory, Mumbai is in fourth place in 10 matches with 10 points. Rajasthan Royals also have 10 points in 11 matches, and both teams know that today is the fight or die. The losing team will be out of the runoff.
For Mumbai, the rest of the batsmen have scored, except for Aavin Lewis. Suryakumar Yadav is in excellent form and he has given a good start to Mumbai. Captain Rohit scored 94 runs against Royal Challengers Bangalore but he has not been able to do justice with his talent since then.
Though Mumbai’s middle order is not able to go, although wicketkeeper Ishaan Kishan’s innings in the last match has given relief to coach Mahela Jayawardene. If Yadav, Rohit, Louise, Ishan and JP Duminy are in the form they will be difficult to stop. Ben Cutting and Hardik Pandya can wreck their batting.
